How to get rid of this?

Hey,

this little problem forced me to register in here.
I've been using S&D from the very beginning. However since few weeks (perhaps months?), this one is really pis*ing me off. Don't get me wrong, Spybot is a good app and my PC isn't the oldest one (3.2GHz, 4GB RAM), but what you see in the picture just slows down my computer (sometimes I have to kill explorer.exe in order to work again).
Whenever I click properties of any file, I get this dialog.

Clicking the Spybot-S&D beginns to check the file. The larger the file is, the longer it takes. Once I clicked this by mistake on a 5.8GB database from my working place and I got stuck up. I had to kill explorer.exe because I couldn't do anything else.

Do any of you have any idea how to get rid of this? Maybe i'm blind, but i've been through all the settings but couldn't find anything.

I think that is disabled by default with the final version of Spybot.Do you have the old Spybot beta or the release candidate installed?

I'm using 1.5.2.20 which is the last one I downloaded (the Updater hasn't offered anything new yet). In case I shoud downgrade, please write me the build number, as few previous releases were buggy with my PC (hyperthreading, problem with Nod installed and AutoCAD running in background would crash).

Hi nevermind,

To disable the file scanner:

start > run > regsvr32.exe /u C:\PROGRA~1\SPYBOT~1\SDFiles.dll

To re-enable it again:

start > run > regsvr32.exe C:\PROGRA~1\SPYBOT~1\SDFiles.dll
