scan then shutdown

I read all other threads and my problems seems different. I ununstalled 1.4 then installed 1.5.2.

I updated, advanced mode, selected all in check marks for scan in file setting.

I run a scan, various tracking cookies are found, no mal ware.

I check all the boxes to remove, when I click OK the entire program shutsdown.

If I scan again same items found but again click ok to remove and program shuts down.

I uninstalled 1.5.2 and when I go to yahoo email, within 2 seconds of sign in, I gets a redirect to a google page.

I install 1.5.2 again and same all over, and yahoo email works again without redirect.

So I guess three questions.
1) what causes the spybot program shutdown when I click ok to fix problems found?

2)why do I get the redirect when I sign in to yahoo email, then after uninstall, then yahoo email is okay after re-install of spybot 1.5.2??

Not a fan or dust bunnies problems.

After all the problems I did a contol F11, went back to new. Everything works perfect but am hesitant to try 1.5.2 again.

Duo processor, Inspiron 1705, 1 gig, 80 gig hard drive,
ie6, windows xpsp2, run ccleaner, windows defender(only since spybot failed me), AVG,comodo and spyware blaster3.5.1,adaware 2007 personal free.
