I've been running SpyBot (and Ad Aware, for that matter) on a machine that almost certainly has spyware - and I can detect some of that spyware with AVG and Zone Alarm. Unfortunately, SpyBot (and, again, Ad Aware) detects absolutely nothing:

Zone Alarm's spyware scan found "P2P-Worm.Win32.Logpole.c" along with a few other trojans, but SpyBot found nothing.
Since no spyware scanner was run on the computer in question for the past four months (at least), and because said computer has users who are a bit careless about where they go (they managed to nearly break the windows install with malware four months ago, and things aren't that great now), I find this pretty implausible. What could completely block SpyBot's ability to detect spyware? More importantly, how could I clear it up?
