however, after rebooting for other reasons, when I attempted to open the program, I got the following negates:
"Spybotsd
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
If the problem persists, contact the program vendor."
When I press the "Details>> button, I get the following:
"SPYBOTSD caused an invalid page fault in
module <unknown> at 0000:00000000.
Registers:
EAX=00000000 CS=0000 EIP=00000000 EFLGS=00000000
EBX=00000000 SS=0000 ESP=00000000 EBP=00000000
ECX=00000000 DS=0000 ESI=00000000 FS=0000
EDX=00000000 ES=0000 EDI=00000000 GS=0000
Bytes at CS:EIP:"
Stack dump:"
Then I press the Close button and get this:
"Application error
ExceptionEAcessViolation in module SPYBOT.EXE at 002E609B.
Access violation at address 002E609B in module 'SPYBOT.EXE'. Read of address FFFFFFFF."
All the above without the quotes, of course, just my way of highlighting.
Thankfully, at least I ran the previous version prior to all this, came up with some 176 "problems". I was informed that I would have to reboot to finish out the last 7 "problems". Now I can't finish out anything, much less get the program to load.
Help? Please?
Great forum, as I just registered a bit ago, looks like it could be interesting, especially to a "non-tech" user.
