Problem DOWNLOADING updates???

Greetings and Salutations!

First time on forum, but not to SB. Have used SB on other systems, including this one. I downloaded for current system after I noticed it slagging, thought it might have some ad/spyware, but after scanning, nothing.

I went to download updates this afternoon, but it has been over 6 hours and it was still just DOWNLOADING the updates, NOT EVEN scanning yet! What's up???:scratch: It would not even let me cancel it; I had to do the control+alt+delete in order to close down the program.

Can anyone help???

The cancel button doesn't seem to work.You could try updating again,trying
a different server-
