as a precaution, before using combofix:
Close any open windows
Close/disable anti virus and any antimalware programs that might have real time protection running.Usually this can be done by clicking on the icons by the clock and selecting exit etc. This is done to prevent any possible interference while Combofix is running. After combofix is done you can restart them.

CF disconnects your machine from the internet. The connection is automatically restored before CF completes its run. If CF runs into difficulty and terminates prematurely, the connection can be manually restored by restarting your machine.

Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.

the best thing to do is rerun your antivirus and antimalware apps.
i see you have spybot, if you would like to use a 2nd antimalware then i suggest a new one to go along with spybot: up to you really

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop:

http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.

* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.

* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.

* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.

* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.

* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

Thanks for your help :) ...but I did a system restore recently to fix something wrong with my desktop when I was doing something with a scrap file and the malicious stuff was there again...so I followed all the instructions here and I did checks with everything and it seems O.K. I've posted the Kaspersky log and the HJT log as well just to make sure...please look at it and make sure it's O.K. If you don't have time...thank you...but it's just to make sure everything's O.K. Thanks again!

speaking of system restore; its possible that malware can get archived in restore points, so if you do a system restore for what ever reason, the malware might be put back in place. best practice is to do a system restore "cleaning" after malware is removed:

One of the features of Windows ME or XP is the System Restore option, however if a malware infects a computer with this operating system it can be backed up in the System Restore folder. Therefore, clearing the restore points is a good idea after malware is removed.

To reset your restore points, please note that you will need to log into your computer with an account which has full administrator access. You will know if the account has administrator access because you will be able to see the System Restore tab. If the tab is missing, you are logged in under a limited account.

Hi again. Thank you for the help once again. I hate to say this...but something still doesn't seems right. My Internet doesn't connect automatically and when I run IE Connection Diagnostics it says it can connect to HTTP and HTTPS pages but not FTP. Please look at the Kaspersky and HJT logs that follow. I realize now that after I re-enable Spybot Teatimer after fixing the problems found with HJT that I had marked HJT on the blacklist or something and that Teatimer puts the problems back onto the machine after I fix them and re-enable Teatimer. I've deleted all the items on the blacklists and whitelists but it still has the same problem, so I've disabled Teatimer for good now...

most people do not need to connect via FTP. the service may be disabled by default. from a security point of view: this is a "good thing", not a "bad thing"

Okay...well never mind then. It seems everything is all fixed now. The Internet thing is mostly because the modem plug was loose in the outlet :red:, so everything seems okay now. Thanks for all the help and sorry for bothering you so much!

start>run and type in the window:
combofix /u
note: there is a space after the x and before the u
