Virtumonde and Vundo HELP

i am lost!! have no clue what to do here. I have been trying but no luck. Been infected for about a week. I am new to this type of problem and would be very thankful for any help.

Here is my HJT log i did this after rebootin safe and ran spybot,fixed all in red repeated,rebooted ran HJT. My PC will not finish running Kaspersky. It gets to about 98% and my screens vanish. I hope this is enough to get some help.

You are infected, I suggest you keep this computer offline except when troubleshooting, the junk may download more. If you have any tool I use, delete it and download it new from the link I provide. Read and follow the directions carefully, the tools will not work unless you do.

"Download VundoFix" to your Desktop

http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4

Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
When VundoFix opens, click the Scan for Vundo button.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case, VundoFix will attempt run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click
the Scan for Vundo button." when VundoFix appears at reboot. Vundofix.txt will be on the C:\

(wait until you finish to post reports and logs)

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall

Post the Vundofix.txt, combofix log and a new HJT log.

Thanks for returning your information, let's proceed like this.

1) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.

2) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/ATF-Cleaner.exe
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

3) Spyware Doctor: From within Spyware Doctor, click the "OnGuard" button on the left side.
Uncheck "Activate OnGuard".
Return it to normal operation when you finish.

4) Open Vundofix by Doubleclicking on it, then point your mouse to the white box above the buttons and right click, then click on Add More Files. When the next window opens,
copy and paste the files into the boxes and click on Add File(s), then click on Close Window. Then click Remove Vundo.

5) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

7) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

I'am not very good with computers, so I have to say THANK YOU again.The one file that you wanted me to remove has been missing for a couple of days C:\WINDOWS\system32\odoshgmm.dll whenever i started windows i would get an error saying it was missing.

We still have a couple of infected System Restore files to clean, let's check first to make sure nothing was missed. Before you scan, remove combofix, C:\Qoobox\quarantine\ folder, Vundofix and the C:\Vundofix Backups\ folder from your computer.

* The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
* Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
* Now click on Scan Settings
* In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
* Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
* Standard
* Scan Options:
* Scan Archives
* Scan Mail Bases
* Click OK
* Now under select a target to scan:
* Select My Computer
* This will program will start and scan your system.
* The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
* Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
* Now click on the Save as Text button:
* Save the file to your desktop.

Just had to say thank you. I have one question. why do i still get RUN DLL ERROR C:\WINDOWS\system32\odoshgmm.dll could not be found. I get this at windows start. Any idea? Thats the one i was supposed to get rid of.

Looks like the memory in TeaTimer is returning junk to the HJT log. Sometimes Spybot has to be uninstalled completely?

Please follow these directions in the posted order.

1) Make sure all files and folders are showing:

2) Spyware Doctor: From within Spyware Doctor, click the "OnGuard" button on the left side.
Uncheck "Activate OnGuard".
Return it to normal operation when you finish.

2) Make sure TeaTimer is disabled!!We need first to disable TeaTimer that it doesn't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
* Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
* If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
* On the left hand side, Click on Tools
* Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
* Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
* Restart your computer.

3) In some cases it's sometimes quite usefull to reset TeaTimer, once you've had it disabled to remove HijackThis entries :
Download ResetTeaTimer.bat.

Double click ResetTeaTimer.bat
to remove all entries set by TeaTimer (and preventing TeaTimer to restore them upon reactivation).

4) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

Right click Start > Explore and navigate to these files/folders and delete them if there.
