Searching Other Drives

Hoping you more knowlegeable guys can help me out here.
Can I search specific drives, and individual files and folders with Spybot S&D? I have version 1.4

I want to scan just an external hard drive that I plug in via a USB port, without having to scan the main drive (C:/) / whole system.

Also it would be useful to be able to scan DVD's and CD's in their drives and floppys too.

Any help will be much appreciated, thanks :)

you can not set spybot to scan certain drives or cd/dvd drives. Spybot scans your main system, being your main hard drives. use windows defender or your antiviruis and set a custom scan to scan your jump drive and any other drives that may need it. Unless a spybot team member corrects me, i do believe you cannot set custom scans for certain drives.

another thing i may offer is to maybe install spybot on the jump drive and its possible it might be tricked into that being the main drive and scan it. I'm not entirely sure on that though. its worth a shot though! :) good luck!
