All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

Thanks for posting the correct information, you would be surprised how few do.

You are infected, I suggest you keep this computer offline except when troubleshooting, the junk may download more. If you have any tool I use, delete it and download it new from the link I provide. Read and follow the directions carefully, the tools will not work unless you do.

1) This junk hides from HJT, please return here:
C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe <<< rename HJT.exe, call it dazza.exe, that will work. After a restart we may see more of the infection.

2) We need first to disable TeaTimer that it doesn't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
* Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
* If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
* On the left hand side, Click on Tools
* Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
* Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
* Restart your computer.
(leave TT disabled until we finish)

3) C:\Documents and Settings\Darren\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\ <<< clean the contents of the Java cache

"Download VundoFix" to your Desktop

Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
When VundoFix opens, click the Scan for Vundo button.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case, VundoFix will attempt run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click
the Scan for Vundo button." when VundoFix appears at reboot. Vundofix.txt will be on the C:\

Post the Vundofix.txt and a new HJT log

I had actually come across the vundofix link on my own since I 1st posted here.Hopefully I didn't mess anything up for you further.

Until a helper responds, the HJT log has not been analyzed. Please wait to be advised and don't run fixes until asked. This is especially important if your Operating System is Windows Vista!Often clues to removing the infection get removed before we even see them, leaving us at a distinct disadvantage to the malware.

1) See this: http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.php?p=12880&postcount=2
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\ <<< Java needs and update, follow the instructions in that link.

2) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.

3) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/ATF-Cleaner.exe
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

4) Open Vundofix by Doubleclicking on it, then point your mouse to the white box above the buttons and right click, then click on Add More Files. When the next window opens,
copy and paste the files into the boxes and click on Add File(s), then click on Close Window. Then click Remove Vundo.

5) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

6) Right click Start > Explore and navigate to these files/folders and delete them if there.

(check to be sure these files in red are gone)

7) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.

Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Restart and post a new HJT log and some feedback.

Note: In notepad under Format, uncheck "Word Wrap" Produce all HJT logs like this, single spaced.
single-spaced - (of type or print) not having a blank space between lines.follow them and post a HJT log I can work with.

Let me point out that unles you can give your complete attention to what you are doing when working on your computer, you would do well to wait until you can. It only takes one mistake to turn the computer into a large plant stand.

If, for some reason you can not complete an instruction, please tell me what that was and why that was.

1) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.

2) Open Vundofix by Doubleclicking on it, then point your mouse to the white box above the buttons and right click, then click on Add More Files. When the next window opens,
copy and paste the files into the boxes and click on Add File(s), then click on Close Window.
Then click Remove Vundo.

3) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

4) Right click Start > Explore and navigate to these files/folders and delete them if there.

(this means you open the system32 folder, look to make sure those files are no longer there, if they are, right click and delete them)

C:\WINDOWS\system32\qomnmnl.dll

Restart the computer and post the Vundofix report and a new HJT log. Tell me about any instruction you could not complete now.

Ok here's where I see an issue :
With the Vundofix , you state to hit 'remove Vundo', where it actually says ' fix vundo'. I think the 1st time I missed that.
I ran it this time ,it removed them asked to reboot.
I did the HJK scan and there's an different mljjh.dll file than what you asked for.The others are there.
How should I proceed ?

Could'nt delete the files from system32 folder, says they're being used.I had all progs and pages closed.Checked ctl/alt/del to confir nothing open excpet system32.

Once again the mljjh.dll was different than what you asked me to look for.Perviously I was'nt sure whether to proceed just checking the remaining ones or include the 'odd' mljjh file too.

Boot the computer into safe mode and delete those files there when they will not be being used!

Remove any old copies of combofix before you proceed.

Download ComboFix from Here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe) to your Desktop

Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall

Post the combofix log and a new HJT log.

I appreciate the fact that you installed Recovery Console, which is something I usually do a little later. Now would you read the directions, run combofix and post the combofix log. Once the combofix log is posted, then run a new HJT log and post it.

Sorry mate ...... I'm really not trying to waste your time.I followed the tutorial ... as it said to do it and this is what ran when I double clicked the Combofix exe.
I suspected this was'nt the actual scan as it went so quick.

OK so I had to uninstall/ reinstall combofix a few times.It would'nt go any further tha the initial blue window.I left it alone for a while each time, but eventually on my last try I got the proper start-up messages.
During it's scan I had several Norton Popups, despite it's being disabled.I left them, but it was obvious that combofix was'nt proceeding until I selected the 'allow' function on Norton.It's still x'ed out now, so I'm not sure why it was bringing up any messages.
Combofix rebooted me system and there were several 'failure to initialize' popups to follow.Once again I left them but as I could see nothing was proceeding I 'okay-d' them and combofix ran to the end.
Once again I'm sorry for the trouble, and I really do appreciate your time and effort.

Read and follow the directions carefully.

1) Be positive TeaTimer is still disabled and do this.
Download ResetTeaTimer.bat.
http://downloads.subratam.org/ResetTeaTimer.bat
Double click ResetTeaTimer.bat
to remove all entries set by TeaTimer (and preventing TeaTimer to restore them upon reactivation).

2) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/ATF-Cleaner.exe
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

3) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Restart the computer and post a new HJT log and tell me how the computer is running.

It booted up quicker than in some time.I did have some concern about teatimer as the instructions told me to uncheck it in 2 locations of spybot and I could only find it listed under 'resident' and not under 'system startup'.I left that unchecked as you said and here we are.

Your HJT log looks good:bigthumb: you can use HJT to remove this one old Java line:
O2 - BHO: SSVHelper Class - {761497BB-D6F0-462C-B6EB-D4DAF1D92D43} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_05\bin\ssv.dll (file missing)

Since we have Recovery Console already installed, remove combofix, C:\qoobox\quarantine\ , Vundofix and the C:\Vundofix Backups\ folders and then run a last Kaspersky Online Scan using these settings. Expect a couple of infections because we still have to clean System Restore.

* The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
* Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
* Now click on Scan Settings
* In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
* Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
* Standard
* Scan Options:
* Scan Archives
* Scan Mail Bases
* Click OK
* Now under select a target to scan:
* Select My Computer
* This will program will start and scan your system.
* The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
* Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
* Now click on the Save as Text button:
* Save the file to your desktop.

Then post it here.
