Hi All,
I have been using Spybot (v 1.5) for about 5 months and I have not been able to get any updates that whole time. Each time I try to update, a window tells me it is searching for updates, but then after a few moments it says "no newer updates available". What's up?
Thanks for any advice!

Hello,

Please upgrade your program, version 1.5.2 is available!
Just install over the old version.
You can download the new version here:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html
Or choose the direct installation file (http://www.spybotupdates.com/files/spybotsd152.exe).

Best regards

Hello,

I have spybot 1.5.2, it too is not up dating. I have downloaded the manual update & installed them, but when I immunize it seems that there is nothing new to immunize. could you tell me please how to check what are the latest definitions I have?

also I tried to got to the spybot website I gather they are moving would this be why I cannot update?

Thanks

Lacanox:)

Hello,

To see which version number and/or updates of Spybot - Search & Destroy you are using please run Spybot-S&D and choose "Help" --> "About" in the menu bar.
There you can see which version you have and which updates are installed.
It should be version 1.5.2 and the updates from the 2008/03/05.

Best regards

thanks spybotsandra I looked at "About" & yes it does say 1.5.2 & updates from 2008/03/05. so i think I'm just being paranoid.

So I am up to date, & I won't die yet??

thanks

There should be weekly updates, usually coming out on Wednesdays. ;)
