cid.ie.pop loads popups & trojan attacks logs included

[bettyboop]

Kaspersky has not found anything but free AVG has vaulted lots of trojans. Plus I have this CiD.ie.pop that I cannot get rid of even using spypot. My system is terribly slow and plagued by pop ups.

Now click the "REBOOT" Button.
A Message should popup from NoLop. If not, double click the program again and it will finish Please Post the contents of C:\NoLop.log along with a fresh HijackThis log

Pop ups are coming thick and fast. all showing on the task bar cid:------

Have uninstalled what was left of Norton, which was just the live update. Uninstalled the rest before installed AVG but forget that last bit.

Ran Nolop and it found "no infected files"

1) You are still running Symantec at the same time as AVG, if you need help removing it from your computer, look here:

2) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.

3) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/ATF-Cleaner.exe
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

4) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

5) Right click Start > Explore and navigate to these files/folders and delete them if there.

May I just ask one other thing AVG has lots of references to trojans stored in its "vault"
Is it safe to delete them?

They mainly all begin documentssettings/application data/htmtons/ then the last part is bcjbdjbs.exe for example, they are all random .exe files

Sure, I run AVG Free myself. Right click the AVG icon in the system tray and choose Launch AVG Test Center then click the Virus Vault on the left side of the interface.
Click Action at the top then Empty Vault.
Close everything...Safe surfing:)
