changed proxy but cant update

I'm using SPYBOT and avast as my antivirus. I cant update my spybot since 3 weeks ago. The proxy settings have been changed becos i'm on another wireless network. It works for my antivirus but not spybot. I had no problem using it last year when i was on wireless. please advise
