After completing my first spybot scan it found some problems and fixed all but one. Spybot asked me to allow it to run after restart to try and fix the problem so I did. Now after a all that I logged in fine.
Then I tried to run Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 with protection on and the system frooze. So, I rebooted the computer and now it is freezing after I log in and hear the log in music.
I tried going into Task Manager and found that explorer.exe wasn't running so I tried to run it through there. After trying that to no avail I came into safe mode and started Spybot. I am in the recovery tab but I havn't toouched anything in fear of making things worse.
I have very limited experiance with computers. This is my school laptop and would love to try and avoid having to goto IT so they can just wipe everything out.
for not running the kaspersky online scan, I will do that now and follow per instructions from the before you post thread.
when I try and use the Kaspersky On-line scanner it wont let me do anything after it finish's scanning.
