Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information.
"BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance)
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

Let's chat a bit, first Kaspersky is showing nothing and I see no active malware in the HJT log.

Avast is also a good program, could you tell me the names of the infected files and where Avast tells you they are located?

As far as your autocheck (assume you mean Avast is not starting automatically?) You may have to ask technical support about that issue.
http://www.avast.com/eng/technical_support.html

AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 <<< do you own this program? Even if it was a trial, update the program and run a system scan and post the results.

Provide that much information and any other feedback you think will help. Do you have any symptoms of malware, any error messages at all?

Thanks...Phil

A few things i need to point out

1: i have had to reinstall os twice in past three years due to downloading dodgy software[spyware stormer and winfixer and cool web search]...you see i am stupid and to this day don't know how you know what is safe etc...

2: my brother has 40.3 gigabytes of music on his itunes[and 10,000 tracks on his i-pod and 1000 cds ]as he is a real music lover....i seriously can't afford to lose that data on him...even though he has most of it backed up

3: i now try to only download software on download.com and use mcafee site-advisor and scan any new downloads at jotti or virus total[but some files are too big]

4: i am quite paranoid about pc security and anxious to keep my pc as clean as i can

5: when booting up my computer says something along the lines cannot find isdelete - skipping autocheck which occurred even before i tried to download avast

6: whenever i try to do online scan on www.symantec.com or www.mcafee.com i can't ...an active x problem or something..but kaspersky and trendmicro and f secure online scans working ok as is any downloaded anti virus

7: symantec tech support told me to reinstall internet explorer to solve online scan problem...so i went to the microsoft discussion boards and they said to uninstall internet explorer 7 and see if problem persisted with internet explorer 6 and it did...they then said to uninstall any anti-virus software and install avira and do a scan..it showed up two virus's...they said they were not active virus's and in restore points but to get a hijack this analysis on a forum like this

here is the avira report to see what you think

Well, thanks....I got all of the information but what I asked for. It seems to me you are getting to much advice from two many places and me adding to it is just going to muddy the waters more. As I said, I see nothing in the HJT log and the KOS reports nothing. My advice, since you did not answer the question, is to uninstall AVG Anti-Spyware if it is just a trial, it is just using resources.

I can not help you with the fact that you are using your computer to store your brother's music, that would have to be between you and him. I personally doubt Avast can find anything Kaspersky can not. I also can not help with error messages unless you post them exactly as they are, word for word. Once again, if this has to do with Avast, their technical support is where you should be asking your questions.

This is a good site for references: http://spywarewarrior.com/

I will be glad to look at what Avast is showing you if you post the information I requested. Otherwise I do not believe I can help you other than to provide you with this information which may benefit you.

Some good information for you:

Please understand I am here to help you remove malware, which I believe I have done. If you have Operating System issues, try a forum that deals with that. Here are a couple of good ones:
http://www.techsupportforum.com/microsoft-support/windows-xp-support/
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/forum56.html

Here is another free site that will allow you to run a free diagnostic, and help you with the information:
Diagnostic: http://www.pcpitstop.com/pcpitstop/
Tutorial: http://www.pcpitstop.com/techexpress/howto1.asp
Help with results: http://pcpitstop.invisionzone.com/index.php?showforum=6

AVG Anti-Spyware - Scan Report is showing only a couple of cookies, if you wish to control cookies, see this information:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/cookies.htm
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/using/howto/privacy/config.mspx

I also suggest that program be turned off completely or uninstalled if you do not own it. It uses a lot of your resources. If you need a good, free spyware program, this one is available from Microsoft:
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx

No matter what anti virus i am trying i am getting i get 1sdelete file missing-skipping auto check when booting up my computer..Unless you post the exact error message "word for word" I can not begin to research this.

If the problem is Avast you may want to try another antivirus program (only run one) here are other free ones.
