Pretty bad when it takes 7 minutes to download the preliminary 2.2mb install files (or whatever it is) during the Spybot installation procedure. I've also noticed that when I update Spybot, sometimes it will connect to a server that seem to take forever. Most of the time it's just fine. I'm on a 1.3mb DSL connection so it's not me. Most of your servers are lightning fast but one of them needs to either upgrade their server or politely bow out of the Spybot server lineup.
When I update manually I can choose whatever server I want to, but when I set up Spybot to automatically update at program start on a customer's (or on my) computer, there is no such choice, it chooses a server randomly. It's nice to be able to set it up like that but when one of the download servers is not up to standards it mucks up the whole works.
7 minutes to download a 2.2mb file is reminiscent of dialup days...:yuck:
Thanks for "listening" to my rant. -kd5-
