I searched and didn't see anything about this change. This is what it says:

Category: System Startup user entry
Change: Value added
Entry SpybotDeletingB1263
Old data:
New data: command /c del "C:\WINDOWS\Search And Destroy\uninstall.exe"

I read that I can allow or deny this change, but I don't want to delete something that will make Spybot S&D unable to work. I suspect that the reason I am getting this is because I recently rebooted my PC and when I went to download Spybot S&D again, I Googled it and clicked the first one that popped up. It looked like the right one, until I tried to run it. I immediately uninstalled it and clicked more carefully in Google to get this one. So I don't know if its trying to make a change to the right Spybot or the bogus one!

Appreciate all the help, sorry if I'm a PITA!

Hello,

If you have scanned and fixed items with Spybot you also have to allow the registry change that the Resident TeaTimer is asking for.
Only then the items will be deleted completely.

Please read this information about TeaTimer:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/faq/33.html
and http://www.safer-networking.org/en/faq/34.html
If you surf the web and without any user interaction the teatimer pops up and warns about a registry change it is better to "deny", but if you install something by yourself it is OK to "allow" the change.

Best regards
Sandra
