Hi! I have this problem with my pc..here's the thing i cant open my anitivrus (NOD32) control center,it automatically log out (window close) everytime i'll try to open it. i cant perform any updates and run system scan cause i cant access the control center...i tried to un install but wen i click the remove button nothing happened..aslso i tried to download other antivirus like avg,kasperrsky,mcafee but wen i try to download or run them the window will shutdown..i can't even go to the website of the said antivirus,it's just something is bloocking them from opening,the window explorer will closed. the only thing i can download is norton,so now iam using a trial version,i scan my pc uisng norton but it seems it doesnt detect the virus/malware that cause the problem....here's my log hope some one can tel me wat's wrong with my pc. Hi

1. Download combofix from any of these links and save it to Desktop:
Link 1 (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe)
Link 2 (http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe)
Link 3 (http://subs.geekstogo.com/ComboFix.exe)

**Note: It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**

2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you (C:\ComboFix.txt). Post that log in your next reply

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.
If it does, open Task Manager then Processes tab (press ctrl, alt and del at the same time) and end any processes of findstr, find, sed or swreg, then combofix should continue.
If that happened we want to know, and also what process you had to end.

HI :) sorry for late rply...i installed the combofix,but i cant see any log in the combofix folder (c:\combofix)..i tried to open the tskmanager but wen i click ctrl alt del the window will close...wat should i do?
oh one more thing wen i run the combofix.exe a blue screen ( i think its called dos window or something) will pop up for a feew second, it;s only plain blue, no txt or anything written...

Hi

Did you follow the instructions (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix) about turning antivirus protection (in your case Nod) off? Also, the log should generate into root of C: drive (c:\ComboFix.txt) not c:\ComboFix folder.

If you still can't make ComboFix work, download ComboFix.exe to your desktop, then reboot into safe mode (instructions (http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm#02)) and run ComboFix there.
