Why does Spybot not remove this problem? Well it has removed Smitfraud-c 54 times according to the Spybot stats.
I have deleted the def.htm file ( the blue screen) associated with smitfraud-c. If it is in the registry, why cannot I find it using regedit? I have probably jumped the gun using combofix. I saw that it was recommended to almost everyone that had the problems that I had. :oops: It removed the virtumonde.dll problem that I had.
I also would like to know why some "other programs" like Windows Defender and others find no problems where others find all kinds. I Googled smitfraud-c. I found a program that found problems but wanted money for full version to fix the problems that it had found. It found a bunch of problems. I was pretty shocked with what it found. But I have since killed that program off. What am I left to do cuz I am stumped on this one. Any help would be helpfull.
