For some history on this. My computer started having problems on 3/31/08. I've been working with mcafee, because they are my protection. Somehow trustedantivirus installed intself on my computer and kicked mcafee off of my computer. I get pop ups, I'm not able to remove the software in the add/remove. My computer is moving extremely slow. Mcafee had me run a scan... some infected files were removed, but Trustedantivirus is 'untouchable.' They did have me turn off system restore, but I am assuming it wouldn't matter anyways, as the system restore wasn't working anyways... the only restore point my computer allowed was yesterday at 3:36- when all the problems occurred. It wouldn't let me go back a day or a month, etc. I am so frustrated and would appreciate any help you can give. please let me know if you need any more info.

For some history on this. My computer started having problems on 3/31/08. I've been working with mcafee, because they are my protection. Somehow trustedantivirus installed intself on my computer and kicked mcafee off of my computer. I get pop ups, I'm not able to remove the software in the add/remove. My computer is moving extremely slow. Mcafee had me run a scan... some infected files were removed, but Trustedantivirus is 'untouchable.' They did have me turn off system restore, but I am assuming it wouldn't matter anyways, as the system restore wasn't working anyways... the only restore point my computer allowed was yesterday at 3:36- when all the problems occurred. It wouldn't let me go back a day or a month, etc. I am so frustrated and would appreciate any help you can give. please let me know if you need any more info.
