First off I'd like to thank the volunteers for offering their time to help. Now as to the problem I'm encountering. After running a Spybot scan it list virtumonde and virtumonde.dll as my problems. I've already dl'ed HJT but have not run it yet. Also since in the "more info" tab of the spybot scan tells me to not use IE I am not sure as to how I can run a Kapersky scan. Your help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information.
"BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance)
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

The hackers hide so much of their junk from HJT that we need the Kaspersky Online Scan to see their stuff. Since you have not provided it, do not run and post it now until I request it, I will need to do some research.
You are infected, I suggest you keep this computer offline except when troubleshooting, the junk may download more. If you have any tool I use, delete it and download it new from the link I provide. Read and follow the directions carefully, the tools will not work unless you do.

1) We need first to disable TeaTimer that it doesn't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
* Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
* If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
* On the left hand side, Click on Tools
* Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
* Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
* Restart your computer.
(leave TT disabled until we finish)

2) C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe <<< return here and rename the HJT.exe, call it Ryder77.exe, that will work. After a reboot we may be able to see the infection.

3) I see a firewall and a search protection program but no active antivirus program running on the computer. It is cyber-suicide to go online without one anymore. If you need a free antivirus program, install one of these.
http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/
http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html
http://www.free-av.com/

4) http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php <<< download Smitfraudfix from here and follow ONLY these directions.

Search:
Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select 1 and hit Enter to create a report of the infected files. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Note: process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool". It is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
http://www.beyondlogic.org/consulting/processutil/processutil.htm

Post the C:\rapport.txt. Post also a new HJT log so I can see that antivirus program running.

Thanks

I have no problem with that, just make sure you have read this information:

Note:
When the infected computer in question is a company machine in the workplace, and you are an employee.
Your organization must give their permission for assistance to be received in the removal of malware. The intention of this forum is not to replace a company's IT department.
More than one machine could be at stake, possibly even the server. If sensitive material has been compromised by an infection, the company could be held liable.
Please inform your IT department or Supervisor when a workplace computer has been infected, immediately.
Thank you for your understanding.

Thanks

Thanks for returning your information, Smitfraudfix found the infection and it also found this:
»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» hosts
hosts file corrupted !
After we clean, in the next C:\rapport.txt, there may be a very large hosts file (items starting with 127.0.0.1) and I do not need to see it. Edit (remove) it from the C:\rapport.txt before you post it.

1) Clean:
Reboot your computer in Safe Mode (before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually)
Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select 2 and hit Enter to delete infect files.
You will be prompted: Do you want to clean the registry ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.
The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found): Replace infected file ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to restore a clean file.
A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Optional:
To restore Trusted and Restricted site zone, select 3 and hit Enter.
You will be prompted: Restore Trusted Zone ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to delete trusted zone.
Note, if you use SpywareBlaster and/or IE-SPYAD, it will be necessary to re-install the protection both afford. For SpywareBlaster, run the program and re-protect all items. For IE-SPYAD, run the batch file and reinstall the protection.

2) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.

3) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/ATF-Cleaner.exe
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

4) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {130E5AF8-3401-42EC-A404-F8A33CEC8747} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\geBuropm.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {AA6600A0-A4C8-43FC-A42F-ED9670C6C189} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\xxyWPgDu.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {B3DE22A7-C81D-486B-B176-DF67D4FEBF43} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\tuvVPijh.dll (file missing)
O4 - HKLM\..\Policies\Explorer\Run: [iFeECOiTYO] C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ituhetud\elgzehkt.exe
O21 - SSODL: ComponentWin - {e1812a01-9ffa-42ac-850f-574265938629} - (no file)

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

5) Right click Start > Explore and navigate to these files/folders and delete them if there.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ituhetud\ <<< delete that folder and contents

6) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Post the C:\rapport.txt and a new HJT log. Let me know how the computer is running.

Thanks

My computer seems to be running better now, well at least I don't get randomly sent to different web pages now and before some sound clip would start playing at random intervals (it used to scare the  otta me but that has ceased now). So far so good. Thank you:bigthumb:.
