View Full Version : Trojan Vundo! Have I got rid of it? Re: OldTimer

I have been following OldTimer's posts where he so patiently helps people remove this Hideous virus called Vundo. By following the posts, i think i got pretty close to understanding how to read the logs, but the only one I am uncomfortable with is Combofix. so didn't try that. Any way, I am posting my logs of Hijack, Vundofix, Kapster, Malwarebytes. After cleaning up using all these programs, Vundo does diappear and is not found by Vundofix nor Malwarebytes. But then it suddenly appears in the scans by Computer Associates Anti-Virus scan. So I am turning to the experts to help me here now. I am struggling. But I think I learnt a bit from Your posts here. If you want i can start from scratch and provide all logs. I even tried renaming Hijackthis to scanthis.exe, but same results

Copy and paste the Kaspersky scan results and a new HJT log. Tell me exactly Computer Associates Anti-Virus scan is showing you.
