"Interesting" update:
NAV now checks for updates every 240 minutes by default, and can be changed to every 60 minutes like Kaspersky. :)
This update breaks/"fixes" a common pirated "Phone Activate Code."
The user now has the ability to control the amount of disk space used to cache the various updates.
Most disturbing is that NIS now appears to be incompatible with Spybot S&D v1.4! It requests an uninstall of Spybot.

This should be the final nail in Symantec's Bloatware coffin, IMHO.

Hi there.
Thank you for the information.

I have never recommended Norton Antivirus to anyone, having experienced and seen too many problems in forums with what I consider to be bloatware.
But that's my personal opinion. ;)

News.

The way Symantec tries to get into anti-spyware...... and if they can't do it with quality, they'll try with libel.
