I just updated my spybot S&D to the latest version. I love the new format, but I am having trouble with a very annoying pop up. Every time I go to my yahoo mail or an ebay page, I get a pop up that states: http://ad.yieldmanager.com/st?ad_type=ifran. Right Media
Now this pops up not once, but every time I go into an email or check an auction. Is there a way to tell spybot, once and for all to permanently block this cookie? I've tried unselecting the check for Right Media from the advanced tools to ignore the company, but it did not help.
Any suggestions?

I am not sure I can help from the limited information you have provided. If you wish to see, read the direction I posted above which are also pinned to the top of the forum and provide the required information.
Provide:
a) The HJT log.
b) The Kaspersky log report.
I can tell you that you can block a cookie site like this:
Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Privacy Tab > Sites > add the "Address of website" and choose Block" It should then appear on your "Managed websites" list. Here is additional cookie control information.

I looked at the article you sent from microsoft on cookies, I followed the procedure to block the cookies but it did not eliminate the ad.yieldmanager so I set it back to its original options. I tried downloading I down loaded hijackthis with the follwing report. I also tried to download kasperkey but it kept crashing my system. I think it is because I have Norton? Anyway, I don't know how to get rid of the ad.yieldmanager pop up. It occurs every time I am in yahoo and ebay.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Anyway, I don't know how to get rid of the ad.yieldmanager pop up. It occurs every time I am in yahoo and ebay.Well, I don't know how to get rid of it either, since it is coming from yahoo and eBay, why not ask them. Try blocking all cookies from those two sites and see what happens. Try a free popup blocker:

Unless these popups are happening when you are not online, I doubt running Kaspersky will find anything. Give this tool a run and see if it picks up anything in the registry.
Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
* Please post contents of that file & a new HJT log in your next reply.
I personally consider websites that cause popups when I go to them, places not to go. If they only happen when you go to those websites, that should suggest something to you.
