Hi,
I'm not generally an angry person, but after cleaning a clients XP computer of bravia, virtumonde, vundo, smitfraud-c, I was very frustrated with technology. I returned to my personal vista PC to play World of Warcraft. Upon opening WoW, my PC restarted. I tried this again, same problem. After rumaging around on the internet, i saw someone suggest i get service pack 1 for vista. I activated windows update, only for it to tell me that the service stopped running. Soon after disabling mcafee ( i thought it might be causing the problem) I started having all sorts of processes failing ( Shell Hardware Detection, IP Helper, and 1 or 2 others ). I heard it could also be a driver problem. I uninstalled all the hardware i've added since ive gotten the PC, as well as the drivers. No dice.
