 WOW suddenly past few weeks I am burdeoned with lots of problems I cannot explain and fear might shut down my system. I have limited resources for this pc which is a medical necessity and would sure aprpeciate some help. First, I went into my gmail account which spybot now says is not valid? and I stopped all medical, .gov e-news updates which some still keep coming. I have stopped visiting gmail for now and use an email address I contacted SB from last night with reports about warnings.

First a thanks to Spybot and recent updates which helped to remove portions of SmitfraudC that eeked in on me. I do my updates all the time, last night I checked to make sure my software was current after I received a concerning message, noted in closing.

AOL's Free AVS and Spybot have conflicted reports and after a long day and few long days this week, I removed all AOL files last night along with all recommended programs downloaded from the malware removal thread. I am unable to spend extended periods of time at the computer for medical reasons and for past few days I have been glued here hoping to resolve these issues.

I am disabled with very limited cash flow and my pc is a medical necessity. I had no pc after a car crash June 2005 until last spring 03/31/07 when my recently deceased dad helped gift funds for parts/repairs for the pc I have now, total around $500.00 which depleted our pc reserve money.

Files, disk, hardware etc damaged in that car crash combined with illness, surgery, moving, divorce and pc skills learned from my working days keep me careful and I have several disks I attempted to create as back up but not too confident about those. Vista updates and conflicts with XP are reason I do not allow windows update to run freely and reasons I have been so protective of my restore point, 3/31/07 which included service pack, updates, everything just so including my basic Spybot loaded from a friend's disk.

Per directives malware thread 4/11 I rebooted safe mode to run SP to remove the Zlob and it appeared all restore points were lost
including a 4/10 and 3/31/07.

This is what happened: re: spybot reported infections, spyware/trojan zlob, Malware Removal thread, programs, installs, uninstalls, "Warning message regarding Spybot program files"

1, SB located Zlobdownloader.se and .sg trojans which I could not remove.
2,Forum's Malware removal recommendations with download programs followed; installed Zone firewall, SG, recommended to layer spyware protection to work in harmony,
3,Kasperski on-line scanner stated ok (?) I had AVS by K. on pc so this was a problem, I had to uninstall AVS and ck again,
4. I downloaded 30 days free trial Kasperksi 7.0 with confirmed reports of Zlob.
5. I logged on SAFE mode to ck with Spybot which would not run properly 6. restore points, 3/31/07, 4/10/07, appear gone.
6. reports saved to desktop text,
7. I logged on regular mode and downloaded registry program and received
warning message from spybot (unwanted programs on my system)
8. View of Spybot SnD "Startup" appeared to contain cftmon.exe (described as spyware not required, "hog" not sure how to delete this entry, I unticked this entry and included this in my report from "contact" Spybot, last night.
9 I sent copy of pages, messages to contact function at home page last night.
10. I verified my gmail account to contact the forum today but message is received the gmail is not valid account.
I1 I re registered with my alternate email address and today
Spybot continues to request accept/deny IT Toolbar??

I deny.

Each time I run spybot,

I am advised of the Zlobdownloader.se and .sg infection
and I recieve this message with that yellow sign:

Warning: There were problems in the include file C:\Program Files\Spybot-Seach _Destroy\Includes\TrojansC.sbi See 'Include errors.log' for details.

Until I had some serious help, I was hestiant to download HJT files or anything else since it seems the more I do or try to do the worse it might be for me,

I hope copies of reports saved/sent last night remain and glady I am to work with someone who thinks they can help me save my pc,
currently, remote assistance is disabled and ms windows updates, is disabled
I have (Ihope) in tact my service pack2, xp files and all which exclude Vista, I have friends who have spent great deal of money for upgrades to Vista, not yet prepared for expense and change because Vista updates corrupted xp files, I am told.

How I became infected? I have no clue, I recently tried to view some video footage from the HSUS about animal rescue and have been an active member of the care2.com community which seems busy with third party activity, whatever happened I would like to know to avoid future problems.

I never open attachments or click links and update Spybot each time I log on. I visit sites I believe to be safe, I have signed petitions and received some government emails/eletters with activism for environmental safety which I am beginning to become suspect.
I thought my security settings were sufficient, it appears now some are changed, I think.
spyware/trojans/malware were always included on updated AVS anti-virus protection which since last night, I no longer have anti virus

I run tea timer always although just now, my icon was off and I dont know how that happened.

I ck Spybot for updates daily with each log on and I am careful not click on any links in the mail, I reject all mail as spam unless from known source. I have dial up so my pc is too slow to view videos, the one I tried to watch from the HSUS would not load and I don't even try to view youtube at all.

Thanks and sorry for the length. Gratefully I await for recommendations.

Rhonda:

Are you still being assisted in the Malware Removal (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) forum?

What was the username that you used in that forum?

From the title of your thread:

Problem message: Warning :(
Are these the "Warning" messages you are concerned with?

Warning: There were problems in the include file C:\Program Files\Spybot-Seach _Destroy\Includes\TrojansC.sbi See 'Include errors.log' for details.
If so, those messages appear to be cause by the latest updates (2008-04-09) being use with Spybot 1.4.

What version of Spybot are you running (Spybot » Help » About)? If you are running Spybot 1.4, upgrading to Spybot 1.5.2 should resolve that particular issue.

 Thanks for responding.

That message is comes in a gray black box with yellow yield sign whenever I run my Spybot and really concerns me.
other messages concerned me were from registry changes which deleted .dll file, add/deny and from the added firewall and spyware protection, the spyware imposter I located on the spybot program, startup cftmon.exe, which I unticked, then deleted and which came back.

The download fix was retrieved from malware removal although not signed on because I could not remember my password and tired to retrieve it although it took over 24 hours so I got a message to retry, the response was my gmail email address invalid. The registered name, not signed on was Rhonda216, I think.
anyway.

I reset my account and came directly here. I was not helped directly online from that thread but did download the help items mentioned and I downloaded the registry program and think I tried to ensure my updates were current although my update message for the 1.4 version stated no newer ones available.

Am I allowed to upgrade my Spybot version from this site and I suppose I should download it to disk go offline and then unintall the current version?

Does that sound appropriate, ((( groveling. :-) thanks)))
Since I have not yet been tutored in registries (and alots more)
naturally I am fearful to do much with program changes unlessed advised, before all the error messages hit me left and right, I was hoping to follow a few easy tips and do a fix without being a bother, here I am wondering if I did any damage,

wishing to be free and protected from these pesty vermin, continue to run compatible problems (recommended by you folks) and always have most current Spybot programs.

I have trusted you guys for years going back to Windows ME and problem is, I ran disk installed Norton and other stuff and got lazy about learning the real deal, my computer was bogged with the program overload. Now I am learning the new way of oppostion, so I do apreciate whatever you can do for me.

... so do ya mind telling me what ya think I should do now?
ps do
you guys have an auto fix on spybot? it appeared to fix the 2 problems and did not give me a message, could that be b/c I was booted offline from dial up last night? I will re-run.
Thanks for all.
