I am new with computers about 3 year learning a few things from friends, I try to do fixes to my computer even registry fixes if they are understandable to me but I have so many gaps in my learning that I'm never sure why I have problems because I NEVER do anything not told to me by the companies workers, or people who do this for a living etc. I want to know if I have anything bad here because some scans say things like: O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\windows\system32\securenet.dll Check your hard disc drive with Spybot S&D from Kolla.de or LSPFix from Cexx.org. This entry should not be fixed! Your best bet to repair it is to try the LSPFix from Cexx.org. I checked with spyboy, with BitDefender, ZoneaAlarm, and Ad-Aware, thses are all updated but my computer just keeps getting weirder IE I can no longer us IE Browser, Opera, or any other except Firefox. Anyway if this is just me screwing up things I need to know, Heres my HJT Report, Thank you so much, Lynn Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2

Hello Lynn, welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information.
"BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance)
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

Let me say, since you admit "I have so many gaps in my learning" the first thing you need to know is to read the directions. Most, if not all forums pin (sticky) those directions to the top of the forum and since I see no required Kaspersky Online Scan I have to assume you did not do this.

HJT is a great diagnostic tool but it can only see so much, hense the need for a good scanner like Kaspersky. Looking at your log I see stuff I do not believe should be there, but my first issue is that you are running System Configuration Utility (MSConfig) in Selective Startup mode and I have no way of knowing if malware is just turned off in MSConfig.

1) C:\PROGRA~1\HIDEMY~2\SECURE~1.EXE
O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\windows\system32\securenet.dll
http://www.castlecops.com/lsp-357.html <<< see this
http://www.hide-my-ip.com/hidemyip.shtml
Looks like this was installed on purpose?
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial42.html#O10Diag <<< read that
HJT used to fix those, but because of the fact it can cause loss of the internet connection, HJT no longer will fix those items. If you want that junk gone, uninstall the program in Add Remove Programs.

2) O9 - Extra button: PalTalk - {4EAFEF58-EEFA-4116-983D-03B49BCBFFFE} - C:\Program Files\Paltalk Messenger\Paltalk.exe
http://www.superadblocker.com/definition/palstart/ <<< see this, I would not have the junk on my computers

3) O2 - BHO: ZoneAlarm Spy Blocker BHO - {F0D4B231-DA4B-4daf-81E4-DFEE4931A4AA} - C:\Program Files\ZoneAlarmSB\bar\1.bin\SPYBLOCK.DLL
O3 - Toolbar: ZoneAlarm Spy Blocker - {F0D4B239-DA4B-4daf-81E4-DFEE4931A4AA} - C:\Program Files\ZoneAlarmSB\bar\1.bin\SPYBLOCK.DLL
ZoneAlarm Spy Blocker
http://securitygarden.blogspot.com/2007/12/beware-of-zonealarm.html
http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/installations/askjeeves-banner/
Making me reconsider using and suggesting Zone Alarm?

I really don't see anything else but as I said, I have no idea what you have turned off in MSConfig. Folks mistakenly believe all they have to do is uncheck malware and it is gone, this is not true.

If you wish me to look more, address the issues I posted however you wish, post a new HJT log with MSConfig in Normal Mode and post the Kaspersky Online Scan described in the instructions.

I also suggest you update to IE7 if just for the additional security it provides:

Thanks
