altered register

hi guys and gals, i have only installed spybot search and destroy a couple of days ago, i have five members in my family including my granddaughter who use the computer in there own area (you know the way, select your name when starting the computer log on and off if more than one use it at a time etc,) well if someone else uses the computer after me and i go back on later spybot states that a rgister has been altered and reqires me to select if i want it to be allowed or not? spybot on a search said there was a fault in the regiter with internet explorer and changed the register with my permission and it wouldnt let my other members of the family select there name as it said they were not known to the computer so what the hells wrong with spybot??? i have used this in the past and never had any bother before so i am thinking of uninstalling the program as i feel it will cause more bother than its worth, any help please? cheers.:sad:

Could you post your resident.log?Open Spybot,click Mode,then Advanced Mode,then Tools,then Resident.Rightclick in the window to the right,select Select All,then rightclick again,select Copy,then paste it here.

Zenobia, here is the report, i hope it will help you? sometimes when you switch user, the moniter seems to go into standby and the computer wont work again without a soft reset (the little used reset button on the front of the computer, not the main on button) i dont know if this is spybot thats causing this problem, or something else, but it seemed to start around the same time as the instalation?

That happens on my computer as well,when another User logs into their account,and is normal.Please see post number 2 in this thread,it explains why you should Allow the change,so long as it is an actual Username on the system:

When you say Spybot on a search,do you mean Spybot found something after you scanned with Spybot?And then the other family members could not select their account?
