So, my home PC has had parite (b, i think it it- the one that creates a registry entry) since I got it from someone else.
I've cleaned MUCH gunk from the machine but nothing's gotten rid of parite, which still shows whenever I run spybot (which tells me to run an online scan, but I have no internet @ home)
I clean my temp files all the time 9which is where I thought parite stored its .exe?) and regularly shred free space, so i don't understand how I'm missing it... even the registry entry returned after i removed it!
How do i kill this blasted thing... let alone repair the damage and restore any files that have been seeded with injected code?
