I have a question about TeaTimer. Is the only running process TeaTimer.exe for this feature.

When you disable the option FAQ on temporarily disabling SpyBot (http://www.spybot.info/en/howto/disable.html) is it necessary to reboot the computer?

In earlier versions was it necessary to close the resident shield from the System Tray, then disable in the main program and reboot to kill the process?

Thanks,

With SpybotSD in advanced mode, If you use the procedure of unticking the Resident Teatimer.. box in Tools>resident, then reference to Windows Task Master -Processes will show you that Teatimer.exe is no longer present.

If alternatively you right click on the Spybot (Teatimer) icon in the task bar and untick Resident Protection, then Teatimer will still be present in Task Master - Processes and taking up memory, but will no longer be using CPU resources.

The above will apply whether you reboot or not.

Hope that is of help
