View Full Version : Problem with latest S&D update??

Hi

(I am posting here because the anti-spam proctection on the website won't allow to email support. Hopefully they will read this.)


I ran an update for S&D yesterday, then a (clean) scan. When I tried to log into windows as a limited user, the windows profile was "missing or corrupt".

I carried out a system restore, updated S&D again, same problem.

Since carried out another system restore, but not updated S&D, and seems ok.

Looks like something in the update may be the culpret. Has anyone else reported this problem? The previous update was run about a week ago.

Hello,

During the scan you can not access other user accounts.
After finishing the scan, please close Spybot completely and reboot your computer.
Then you will have access to your user accounts again.

I was obviously not very clear. My problem started following the update and scan.

I managed to restore most of the data and settings, only to lose them again after running the update and scan second time.

Restored again but not run S&D and profile OK. Therefore suspect issue with update.
