Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information.
"BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance)
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

You are infected, I suggest you keep this computer offline except when troubleshooting, the junk may download more. If you have any tool I use, delete it and download it new from the link I provide. Read and follow the directions carefully, the tools will not work unless you do.
This can be a tough infection to remove so do not expect fast or easy.

The junk also does a good job of hiding from HJT and our scan, please follow these instructions as we start to remove it.

1) C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_01\ <<< Update Java, see this:
http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.php?p=12880&postcount=2

2) C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe <<< rename HJT.exe, call it lana_xy.exe that will work, after a restart we may be able to see the infection.

3) We need first to disable TeaTimer that it doesn't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
* Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
* If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
* On the left hand side, Click on Tools
* Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
* Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
* Restart your computer.
(leave TT disabled until we finish)

4) Remove any old copies of combofix before you proceed.

Thanks to sUBs and anyone else who helped with this fix.

It is important that it is saved directly to your Desktop

Download ComboFix from Here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe) to your Desktop

Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall

Post the combofix log and a new HJT log.

Tutorial if needed:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix

Thanks

Skip over the Java update, go back and do that later once you are clean of malware.

Thanks

Thanks for returning your information, read and follow the directions carefully.

1) Do you know what this program on C:\ is >> C:\WA7P

2) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.

2) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/ATF-Cleaner.exe
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

3) Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the codebox below into it:

Referring to the picture above, drag CFScript into ComboFix.exe.

This will start ComboFix again. After reboot, (in case it asks to reboot), post the contents of Combofix.txt in your next reply together with a new HijackThis log.

4) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

(if you set the first item on purpose, you may leave it)
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = about:blank

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

5) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.

i don't recognize the program, but i am almost sure that it's the bogus antivirus software i purchased. jeezz! how can we get rid of it? Not to worry, combofix removed the junk. If you are ever unsure about a program, check here:
http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm

Your HJT log looks to be clean of malware, great job with those complex instructions:bigthumb: this is the next bridge we need to cross:

I am sure you saw this:
WARNING -THIS MACHINE DOES NOT HAVE THE RECOVERY CONSOLE INSTALLED !!
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix
Review that information to understand Recovery Console. Installation is optional but if you do not have the CD's needed, as is explained, it can be installed before we remove combofix.
If you do not wish to install RC, let me know so I can continue with the cleanup.
If you install RC, post the C:\*CF-RC.txt*.

Since we do not need to scan with combofix, click NO

While I think about it, combofix showed open ports on your computer. You may want to use one or both of these tools to find out what is secure.
http://www.securitymetrics.com/portscan.adp
https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2

Besides that, everything looks good so I will wish you safe surfing. Be careful, it is a cyber-jungle out there.

hi! :red: i had installed comodo, spywareblaster, spyguard before i read your last post (thanks for the posting the links btw!)

did the 1st test and got good results, yayy!

~~~~~
Here are your Port Scan test results from SecurityMetrics.
SecurityMetrics offers a range of affordably priced security products and services.
Summary
Ports Scanned: 22 ports out of 65,535 ports
External IP: 74.222.65.208
Internal IP: 127.0.0.1
Connection Type: Router, Firewall, or Proxy
Port Scan Duration: 40 seconds
Date/Time: 2008-04-25 23:53:50 MST
Use These Security Recommendations For Your Configuration
Good Job! All the ports we scanned on your router, firewall, or proxy are secure.
This Port Scan only checked 22 ports to see whether they were open, closed, or stealth. For a more comprehensive security analysis, run a Desktop Check to analyze your router, firewall, or proxy for over 600 security weaknesses.
If you are using an ISP or Corporate router/firewall/proxy, you should tell your System Administrator if any weaknesses are found.
Disable Ports/Programs
Every program on your computer that accesses the Internet uses a port. Most of these programs have known security weaknesses. If possible disable any unnecessary programs or ports listed below to improve your computer security.
Fix Open Ports
Program Port How To Disable Description
No open ports were found.
I look forward to helping you in the future. The best way to secure your computer and safeguard your confidential data is to run a Desktop Check weekly.
