Internet Explorer Fails To Open

I recently posted my Virtumonde problem and you guys helped me successfully remove it! Thanks a million! But, ever since my computer has been virus free, my Internet Explorer has been acting strange. Every once in a while, when I try and open the browser, nothing happens. Sometimes I have to double click on the shortcut 4 or 5 times before it opens. When it still doesnt open, I go into my windows task manager and end all Internet Explorer processes. I usually can open the browser after all previous processes are ended. Any suggestions to what may be causing this??? Your help is greatly appreciated!:)
