(I see 'similar threads' but they're from 2006 and don't seem to apply here.)

Just upgraded to 1.5. Now suddenly when I try to open Internet Explorer, I get the Spybot pop-up that Spybot has detected an important Registry entry that has been changed:

"User-specific browser toolbar
Value added
IT Bar Layout
New Data hex11,00,00. " etc.

I cannot even get a Search page to come up now, on IE.

All I get is "Cannot find Server". I basically get absolutely nowhere.

I do not know whether to Allow or Deny this Registry change of something called ITBarLayout. But apparently maybe IE does not work without it!

Did the new 1.5 version change something? Did I by mistake change something? What would that have been? Do I need to change something back again?

When I look in TeaTimer for any Allowed/Blocked sites, etc. there is absolutely nothing listed under any of the 4 entries.

Hope some of you bright minds can help an old novice.

By the way, can get onto Netscape & Mozilla Firefox just fine. Problem is only with IE....and I need to get the latest critical updates from Microsoft, but can only do that with IE. So really need to fix this IE and ITBarLayout thing.

Thanks so much, in advance....all you guys are great!
