I need help. I am having problems vieving web sites and my computer is starting to slow down a lot.

Hi Danny, I don't know if I can help with your issue or not, this is a malware removal forum and even though a few items you have installed are unknown to me, they do not appear to be malware. What I need is more information, error messages "word for word", how did this happen? Was anything installed or removed at the time. Have you checked for updates for your "flash" program, anything you can think of that might help. You said:

2) Run this online scan using Internet Explorer:
Kaspersky Online Scanner from http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner

Next Click on Launch Kaspersky Online Scanner

You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.

* The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
* Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
* Now click on Scan Settings
* In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
* Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
* Standard
* Scan Options:
* Scan Archives
* Scan Mail Bases
* Click OK
* Now under select a target to scan:
* Select My Computer
* This will program will start and scan your system.
* The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
* Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
* Now click on the Save as Text button:
* Save the file to your desktop.

Then post it here.

Restart the computer and post any information I requested, the KOS scan results and a new HJT log.

It started out a few days ago when I ran SpyBot. It said I had Virtumonde and about 260 other adware programs. It cleared away most of them after the 5th time of running, except for virtumonde and it said to come here and report it. I ran CompFix but then my flash stopped working. Also some websites I can't get into at all now. Everytime I try to go into like www.cybertown.com, the browser just shuts down. No warning or anything. I uninstalled all the flash via the instructions on the Adobe site and then reinstalled flash.. Still nothing. And yes I rebooted after each uninstal and also if the install requested it. I removed the Avasti virus scanner. I am currently running the online KOS scan. So far it has taken me 43 hours and I am at 55%. I hope this is normal. So far KOS says I have 12 viruses, 44 infected objects and 340 suspicious objects. Doesn't look good to me. Will post my KOS and HiJack results when and if KOS finishes.

No it does not look good at all, for instance it takes KOS about one hour to run on my computer which is clean of malware. You sound like you have some major issues, but I can tell nothing until I see the report. The infected items can be in your antivirus program quarantine folder? The suspicious items could be in Spybots Recovery folder? There is just no way to tell. Taking this long to scan, I will guess you have problems besides malware. I can post another scan if you wish?

Whatever you suggest is fine with me. This is my son's old computer and I have no idea what all is on it yet. I DO know I have a 20 gig drive, a 500 gig drive and a 250 gig drive.. The scan is still sitting on 55%, running for 51 hours, showing the following errors: 12 viruses, 46 infected objects, and 509 suspicious objects. I am in your hands and yes I understand that all advice is given at my own risk. But I trust you. All help is appreciated.

Sounds like you have problems:
12 viruses, 46 infected objects, and 509 suspicious objects.
Is there any way you can save what you have run so I can get an idea of what all of the junk is? Have you given any thought to reformatting? I am willing to do all I can, but I am not getting a good feeling about this.

Could you open MyComputer then right click the Local Disk (C: ) and choose Properties. Tell me how much used space and free space there is.

If you want to try another scan, try this one:

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
* Please post contents of that file & a new HJT log in your next reply.

How can I save what I have scanned with KOS so far?
My drive C is the small drive. here is what it says:
Used space is 17.9 gig
Free is 10.7 gig

I dont think I had any probs on my C drive. My D drive is 500 gigs and I think thats where most of my problems are. It is used to store downloads etc.

Do you want me to stop the KOS and do the other scan and then report the findings? If you want what KOS found so far, can I save a log for a partial scan? KOS is still running BTW.

To tell you the truth, I am not sure. I have never stopped the scan before it was finished. I can help remove malware, but I do not have all of the answers. Everything I see in the HJT log is on the C drive. I have no idea what you have on the D drive.
