Help ... am close to formatting ...

Hi, something is running in my system. I have run spybot and nothing detected. I use bit defender fortunately and it keeps on blocking access for this virus. I can't use Task Manager, regedit, cmd (the error comes as 'Another program is using this').

I know the culprit file is cssrs.exe. Here is my Hijackthis log

Am close to formatting ...

Is the one marked in Red a valid process ... i can't stop the process as i can't use Task Manager.

I had IE7 and because of these problems i did sfc /scannow and it did something good but after rebooting its back now. I can't use IE7 at all as it gives error.

i dont see a cssrs.exe in the log (dont confuse it with csrss.exe, which is legit)

ok we will use hjt, then boot into safe mode, delete a file and run your antivirus app.

scan with HJT, put a checkmark beside the items below, close all windows and click fix checked

reboot computer into safe mode, you reach safe mode by tapping the f8 key during a restart of the computer, chose the first option that comes up, safe mode.
once in safe mode, locate this>>svchost.exe located here>>C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs and delete if present.
also while in safe mode run your antivirus.
