After malware removal sluggish loading

Hi
Very happy for all the help from Balde81 removing Zlob.downloader.vdt
but, my computer's Desktop has slowed considerably its populating time.
Also, starting IE or Firefox for the first time (Home page is Gmail in both)
takes much longer than before. Navigating has improved considerably.

I have cleaned up some of the add-ons, updated everything, difragmented
but no speed up.

Any suggestions ?

Btw, can you download CCleaner to clean the "gutter" out of your system?

Btw, do you have the latest version of IE (v.7)and Firefox (2.0.0.14)? What OS (operating system) do you use?
