Spybot Scan

I updated Spybot today and ran a scan. Spybot gets to 135,482 objects scanned (Zlob downloader.bs) and stops and VERY slowly reaches 135,500 and everything totally freezes up. I shut down and tried again and the same thing happened.

Would it be something in the updates maybe or what could the matter be?

Awhile before this, at startup or restart I was getting an error that said - Access violated at No...... with teatimer, or close to as I can remember. The box disappeared so fast I couldn't get the numbers on it. But am not getting those teatime errors now.

Cimarron, you are having EXACTLY the same problem as me.

No solution yet unfortunately. I run XP home with SP2.
All I can say is thank god I am not the only one.
I was thinking my problem was related to the recent AVG 8 upgrade.
