I am unable to immunize 189 cookies in Opera. Anyone using Opera have a look and post back if you have any cookies left after immunizing. Thanks.

My Opera works fine... with immunziation. Are you by any chance using Webroot SpySweeper?

I don't think so.

Um. Well, can you clarify that? A, "I don't know" is not a relevant answer. You can find a list of all the programs installed on your computer via. Add/Remove Programs window (Control Panel). Have you attempted to remove the cookies, cache, and temp. files from your browsers (browser tracks)? :spider:

Sorry.
I do not have Webroot SpySweeper installed.
I deleted all personal data through tool drop down.
I have uninstalled spybot and reinstalled it to try that . it did not help.
I have done a Disk Cleanup an a Registry clean up .
I still have 189 unprotected cookies?

@ Razzputin
which version of Opera do you use?
With Version 9.5 beta Opera changed the cookie format which has not been adapted by the current Spybot S&D version.

I had both the Beta and 9.27 (the stable one) I removed the Beta and that is the one I beleive will not immunize. Why would there still be a problem if I removed it add/remove? I did a registry clean before I re-installed the original version 9.27. is there anyway to remove the Beta 9.5 record/list from Spybot?

I would not recommend registry cleaners because you'll never know what the damage they might do. Registry compactors are alright. The registry is like the core of the OS. The registry does not take up a lot of space. Should one of the registries go wrong, the whole OS goes wrong. I would just suggest that you stay away from those. A registry compactor will do your computer much good, or least it's a positive.

You can remove Opera beta via Add/Remove programs right?

I said I do not recommend registry cleaners. You did not answer my question on the top.

The problem is normally that opera cookies-file is deleted.
You can fix this by starting Opera and try again without
using any clean-up programs before immunize.
