Hello. When I try to install Spybot I get the following Error Message:

This program requires Windows version 5.0 or later.

This is an odd error message for two reasons. One, Windows isn't usually described as version 1, 2, 3 etc. Two, the Spybot website says that Spybot works with Windows ME (which is the OS I am running).

How can I fix this problem?

I tried to do a search of the forum for this topic but the search feature does not work.

I think this most probably because you are trying to install the version for Windows Mobile 5.
You can use the download tab at the top of the forum page to lead you to the right version for your operating system.

The search is working, but for some reason seems rather slow today
