I have had a problem beginning May 7 where performance gets very bad. I use Task Manager and discover 2nd core of Intel dual core processor at 100 percent. I look at Processes, consistenly see one svchost.exe process at steady 50 percent. I run Spybot and it fixes the problem every time for the rest of the session. Both cores coast at <5 percent But next time I start the computer, one core is again at 100% for a net 50 percent CPU, there is a svchost.exe process at 50 percent CPU, and I have to run Spybot to fix it. At first I had this happen on May 7, 9, and 11 and I thought it was an every other day or odd date phenomenon, but now I have it again on May 12, and again Spybot fixed it, but my guess is it will be back tomorrow. Any help would be appreciated. /s/ Kram
