I am receiving the following error when i attempt to scan my computer for adware (my desktop has already been hijacked)

"Access violation at address 006CEA05 in module 'spybotSD.exe' write of address 00000011"

This occurs most of the way through the scan

then when i go to remove the items, it says that i should have an administrator do it, even though my account is a power accounts (no domain)

I don't know vista very well, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. Have you read this thread?

Also, you said your desktop was "hi-jacked". If you should request help to remove the "virus/trojan/malware"...
