Kaspersky found 4 items. Spybot and NAV 2008 do not find these during scanning. Symptom: I would find the computer turned on in the morning when I knew it was turned off the night before. Ran Spybot, NAV 2008 - found nothing. Ran Kaspersky, bingo. Here is Kaspersky and HJT. Thank you.

Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information.
"BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance)
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

Are you sure all of the 015 "trusted zone" items are safe?

I am not seeing anything in the HJT log I can identify as malware. The Kaspersky Online Scan (KOS) scan is finding this:

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\VICRVTK9\index[1].php/packed ------> Trojan-Downloader.JS.ActiveX.ao
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\VICRVTK9\index[1].php GZIP: infected - 1
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\VICRVTK9\index[2].htm ------> Trojan-Downloader.JS.ActiveX.ao
C:\WINDOWS\Temp\symlcsv1.exe ------> Trojan-Clicker.Win32.Agent.aig

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Trojan-Downloader.JS.ActiveX.ao&btnG=Search
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Trojan-Clicker.Win32.Agent.aig&btnG=Search

Start by cleaning out all of the folder in red. Don't be concerned if you can't clean all old files, this stuff will be recent. Once you do that, run another KOS to make sure the stuff is gone.

Have a look at this information:
http://support.real-time.com/browsers/security/ie/activex.html

Internet Explorer v6.00 <<< update your browser if only for the additional security it provides:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/ie/default.mspx

When the Kos is clean, run this scan as a double check.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.
http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
* Please post contents of that file & a new HJT log in your next reply.

Thanks

scjones

HJT 015 items were user added and now deleted. KOS is clean after removal. Two ActiveX settings were changed as recommended by the article.

MWB found Hotbar items in the program The Weather Channel FW. MWB removed part of The Weather Channel FW on reboot. Parts of the now nonfunctioning The Weather Channel FW program were left behind (defunct desktop icon, defunct start menu item). The Weather Channel FW is no longer listed in add/remove so I could not uninstall the remainder in this manner. I found unwise.exe in The Weather Channel FW folder and the uninstall wizard removed the rest of the program remnants left behind by MWB.

Here are MWB and HJT logs:

Thanks for returning your HJT log, how is the computer running?

This item I can't find much about, if you don't know it, have HJT rem,ove it:
O9 - Extra button: Offline - {FC09D8A3-C85A-11d2-92D0-0000F87A4A55} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\oline.dll

Remove this with HJT, ewido is an obsolete program:
O16 - DPF: {193C772A-87BE-4B19-A7BB-445B226FE9A1} (ewidoOnlineScan Control) - http://downloads.ewido.net/ewidoOnlineScan.cab

remove this, looks like a SAS leftover:
O20 - Winlogon Notify: !SASWinLogon - C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware\SASWINLO.dll

If you are having no malware problems, some good information for you:

Computer seems to be working fine (the only odd thing it was doing earlier was turning itself on, and this was random - would happen one day and then not happen again for 7-10 days).

When I google this item:
O9 - Extra button: Offline - {FC09D8A3-C85A-11d2-92D0-0000F87A4A55} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\oline.dll
it turns up in a ton of HJT logs. I could not find any reference of what it is or that it is recommended for removal by other experts who analyze HJT logs. Not sure what to do with this one:scratch:

Ewido item was removed. Will leave the SAS item for now, I am using SAS.
Thank you for the help and the info.

Thanks for the feedback, this is our database for those buttons:
http://www.castlecops.com/O9.html and this:
FC09D8A3-C85A-11d2-92D0-0000F87A4A55 (clsid) returns nothing, I would remove the item were I you.
