so...i am NOT a paranoid person but...
there's A LOT of background/DRAMA that i don't think u guys care to hear...
so i'll keep this as BRIEF as possible...=0(
bottom line...
my kid has NEVER been in trouble...
he's mr. everyone LOVES him...teachers...kids...etc...
my 14 year old son was assaulted at school in March...
he was on crutches at the time....
he got 6 stitches in his mouth and couldn't eat for 2 weeks...
it was bigger than a softball...and he lost 10 pounds...
a kid involved with the assault then started threatening to
KILL him with a gun that SEVERAL people saw...
he was out of school for almost 2 months...due to concern
for his safety...
the school doesn't want to DEAL with it...
the police are jerks...
and i have TONS of evidence showing where the school
has been NEGLIGENT ....
i am filing an appeal...and MAJOR complaint against the school district...
they are really pissed about it and they don't like me very much...=0(
i don't care about that obviously...BUT....
so now...like i SWEAR my computer is being hacked...
i have NEVER had ANY issues or worries about the internet...credit, bank, info ALL online...always been fine....
my computer started acting up a bit...no big deal...
then weird things with my e-mail...phone calls on my home phone...which i NEVER use accept for my DSL...telling me they are "responding to my home security alarm...and need to confirm blah blah..."
so...all was ok...until i noticed a daily scan log on my AVG and something in quarantine ....

i looked this virus up and NOW....i'm scared....=0(
i've read that i can't just REMOVE it because it's "attatched to my server"
and that because it is linked to my SERVER that just removing it won't matter because everytime i get back on line it will come back....
can that actually even happen??...
i've read that it's BAD...and that it could even allow for someone to be MONITOR my computer while i'm on it?!?!....=0(
i've called my ISP and they say there is no way for that to happen and just tell me to change my PW....
i have...and then i get weird messages telling me "i have to update my password" for security reasons...BUT...when i try to verify the "site" it tells me it's NOT verified authentic and a HIGH SECURITY issue....=0(
honestly...i have NEVER worried about ANYTHING like this before but...
at this point i must admit...i'm more than a LITTLE concerned....=0(
ANY advice on how serious this virus is??...and what i can do to get rid of it??...=0(

or do i seriously need to just have a beer and chill ??...haha...
