Malware Alarm Virus!!! How do i stop it??

I recently was infected by the MalwareAlarm Virus....

I belive it was from looking for laptop skins.. becase that was the only "unusual" site i went to b4 getting infected.

I currently am not at home to download the security software but it will be the first thing I do when i get there.

Once I download the software what are the chances of killing the virus?

If it is still there what are some other steps I can take??

I've tried two different security softwares not including the norton i already had installed on the CPU.

One of the security suites i got was CA, i got it free from my ISP.

It did find some problems but after rebooting and all the virus was still sending me pop ups that did not display images on the page there was no name for the site it was trying to connect to just an IP begining with 85.

I performed atlest 10 scans throughout the day and nothing caught it!!

This sucks!!! Please help if you can!!
