View Full Version : Redirected when going to websites, Combofix won't run

Hi,

I'm very frustrated right now. Whenever I try to go to any webpage directly (except Google) I get redirected to the URL + localstart.asp. Whenever I do a google search, I get redirected to various search engines whenever I click any of the results.

I have run SmitFraudFix, SDFix, SuperAntiSpyware, and Spybot Search and Destory, all in Safemode.

Also I'm not able to run ComboFix. Nothing happens when I double click it.

In the HJT log, I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary, but I'd really appreciate any help anyone can provide.

Edit: Sorry, figured out that renaming combofix.exe to cf.exe works because certain spyware blocks the name combofix. Combofix fixed my remaining problems. Thanks!
