Hi
If your PC has problems while tea timer is running simply turn it off, Via SpyBot > advanced > tools resident page..

Get one or preferably both of these free online scans
Kaspersky Lab - Free Online scan:
http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner
Click scan settings and place a check next to use [x]extended this database etc etc. Click ok.
Then choose: my computer: scan all your hard drives and mapped disks.
when finished click save as text and post that in your reply.
Panda ActiveScan-Free online scanner,
http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan.htm
Save the report and post it back here please if there are any that it is unable to deal with.

Why would scanning with any of above be better then what I paying Norton AV to do for me?

I have teatimer running, ( 1.3 ) no problem.

Do you see something in my HJT that I don't?

An online scan or two in addtion to regular scans with your av program is a good idea., besides the logs might show us something.

Again my question, does the HJT show you anything?

I'm more then reluctant to download and run any "free" programs at the moment.

Since my system is not exhibiting any problems what so ever at the moment, unless you see something in the HJT. I do not want to scan with products I know nothing about, other then online reviews showing they are no better then Norton AV.
