Certificates

I am looking at my certificate bar now and wondering why they are all on the system. I just did a reformat, and still all these certificates here, 99% of them arnt from microsoft.

What is everyones opinion on certificates?

I am under the impression that they could provide a link into the core system, possibly causining un-necessary processes, slowdowns, etc.

Has anyone a list of certificates that they remove? or a tool to scan the certificates and fish out the bad ones?
