Hello.
If you go here:
Before you post a log, and who will advise you. (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)
There are instructions for downloading and running HJT. (HiJackThis)
Once you get a HJT log and post it here in this topic, a helper will be able to start to assist you.
No worries we are all new at something, just try to get that one log. ;)
yay, here's step one for ya

hmmm just to let you know I tryed to find wwwcoolsearch through the windows search engine by searching C: and looked at every file and program available there but still couldn't fid it ... yet when doing a virus scan "or" spybot scan it still shows that it is scanning these files perhaps I deleted something without knowing what I did? I don't know? all I know is that if I did something stupid like that it is just going to make life harder for us but I just thought I'd let you know that the possibility is there that I did do something dumb-assed like that :o did I say that you are the best? yet?:)
I will be back online tm around 5;30 Pacific time have a great night .... hope you have a special someone to put a smile on your face tonight ;) ;) (I'm not tryin to be rude just make you laugh:angel: )
thought you might want that too:

Hi
Blindman is a file spybot uses
"to add to this problem I have noticed some other things as my computer has been scanning GAIN GATOR "
When checking for problems with SpyBot what you see "running bot check"
is what SpyBot is looking for, not nessesaraly whats on your PC, understand ?
Your logs look fine, are you experianceing browser hijacks or redirects ?
any odd problems or errors ?
thanx lonny... yeah I was having some trouble with a worm and a virus ... but my computer still seems like it's running slow?? especially at start up TASHI was helping me but I haven't heard from them in a few days now. I think I might have upset them with one of my posts but I was was just tryin to make them laugh, maybe my sense of humor is a little warped(lol). You guys really deserve a lot of credit for helpin ppl out the way you do ... I don't know if you know how much we (I) appreciate it
let me know if there is anything else we can check out ... please thanx
I haven't noticed any redirects but sometimes it takes forever for programs to get running and I've had MSN Messenger stall* a couple times for no reason??
*not sure if this is the correct term or not... symptom:
does not respond when opening then crashes all together and asks if I want to send a report after it shuts down automatically
also this computer is a fresh rebuild (only running for 2 weeks or so)so I wouldn't think it shoud be slow at all considering it has a 2100 P4 processor and 2 sticks of ddr ram and a 128 vid card
