spybot search and destroy will not start

ok, so running windows xp and spybot and hijack this will not start. When i double click the files they flash for a second and do nothing!
I think something hacked my registry files. Any help is appreciated.

However, saint, has to specify his problem. It's vague information if he just says a "hacked" registry. A Tech Member at WTT forums told me that just provided links is not "enough". You have to back it up. Ask questions.
"A good question provides Make, model,and which os is running. When a problem started and when it happens. Also key is what have you done already to fix it."

saint, tell us your OS. Is it patched? When did you experiencing this problem? What have you done to fix it? Or at least find out the cause.

But yes, drragostea i agree i should have asked more questions. If he thinks hes infected like i said, then he should use the malware forums.

1.) when did you start experiencing the problem?

2.) You can try to do a system restore to the point before this happened.

3.) Did you install any new software?

4.) Did you previously remove any threats with the applications that are not launching correctly?

5.) Did you make any big changes to system settings, etc.?
