can't remove Search and Destroy 1.4

Please how do I uninstall S and D version 1.4 ?

Attempting to uninstall gives the following error:

"C\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\unins000.dat" is in a format not recognized by this version of the installer. Cannot uninstall

Please help.

Similar to tsharp, 1.4 reappeared due to a system restore to rid of marketflip.fakesearchanddestroy which S and D 1.5.2 could not remove with the program closing down clicking "Fix problems". Strangly, 1.4 fixed the problem.

With marketflip.fakesearchanddestroy now removed, I have installed 1.5.2.20 over the top of 1.4 which I wasn't sure would be able to do.

I had same problem... SD 1.5.1.15 was loaded over the top of SD 1.4
This became messy but unable to uninstall either one.
By going to http://www.spybot.info/en/howto/uninstall.html was able to do a manual uninstall. Follow instructions carefully and it works. Both are now off my system and leaves you free to start fresh with SD 1.5.2 if you so wish.
